KREFT OVERSIGHT
One seat of accountability across the tax, estate, investment, insurance, and risk decisions that shape a family’s wealth.
Most families of substantial wealth are already well advised. The tax work is sound. The estate plan is current. The portfolio is managed by capable professionals.
And yet each advisor answers for one piece. No one answers for how the pieces fit. Decisions get made in parallel, on separate timelines, by people who rarely sit at the same table. The estate plan assumes one thing while the portfolio is built for another. Nobody is wrong, and the whole still drifts.
The cause is structural. Talent is rarely the problem. Without a defined seat of oversight, coordination falls to whoever happens to
pick up the phone.
Kreft Oversight is that seat.
The Oversight Model
Strategic Architecture
A single long-range plan spanning tax, estate, investment, and insurance, with sequence and priorities defined in one place rather than negotiated piecemeal. It sets what gets decided, in what order, and against which objectives.
Governance Integration
Your existing advisors, and any specialists we bring in, work from a shared agenda and a shared record. We convene them, frame the questions, and make sure each decision accounts for the others. They keep their expertise. We hold the through-line.
Long-Range Alignment
Structured reviews on a rolling 10 to 15 year horizon, so the plan keeps pace with the family, the markets, and the law. The aim is execution that holds over decades, not a document that ages in a drawer.
The Firm
Kreft Oversight began with a pattern Michael Kreft kept seeing over two decades inside traditional wealth structures. As a family’s affairs grew more complex, the advice rarely grew more coordinated. Each professional did good work inside their lane. No one was responsible for how it fit together.
The firm exists to hold that missing role: one seat of accountability for the structure, sequence, and follow-through across the whole, setting the framework within which capable specialists do their best work.
Kreft Oversight serves a small number of families who want that discipline and are prepared to operate within it. Engagement is by private introduction.
